LPCMC’s Working Agreement With IUP, Panama
Objective of The Agreement With IUP:
To create further academic opportunity for the global students of the London Postgraduate Credit Management College, UK by transferring academic credits of its students to International University, Panama for the issuance of IUP Bachelor of Art (Licenciados), Master of Art (Maestrías) and Ph.D (Docotrados) degrees and transcripts in credit management
(Gerencia de Créditos). This transferring credits and diplomas from IUP, will be written in Spanish at their equivalent translation.
LPCMC’s Qualified Programme
The London Postgraduate Credit Management College, UK operates pure and exclusive professional programmes in Credit Management. It’s students are drawn largely from developing, underdeveloped and developed countries, who have interest in Credit Management as career. LPCMC’s working agreement with IUP covers all LPCMC’s affiliates around the world.
LPCMC runs two distinctive specialist programmes:
- Level one, which is Professional Advanced Diploma in Credit Management, and
- Level two, which is Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Credit Management.
Completions of the two programmes qualify a student for ICCE certification.
Level one has duration of sixteen (16) months, while level two is twelve (12) months. Lecture delivery method is through Evening College Class and Weekend College Class. There is study pack for every student.
LPCMC Learning Progression:
Level one (Advanced Diploma) is basically designed as entry level for undergraduates wishing to take up career in credit management. A student at this level must complete the level one program to progress into level two (Postgraduate Diploma).
LPCMC level one and two programmes are structured using university academic standards with equivalent resources.
Issuance of Degrees in Credit Management by IUP, Panama:
LPCMC’s interest with the International University, Panama (IUP) is as follows:
- IUP will accept credits of the LPCMC’s ICCE in Credit Management issued by the LPCMC for conversion to and issuance of Bachelors of Art degree (Licenciado) together with transcripts in Credit Management under the supervision and recommendation of LPCMC.
- IUP shall also accept LPCMC’s student’s credits transfer of its other professional qualification certification programmes such as;
- International Certified Credit Associate (ICCA) (Mastrias), and
- International Certified Credit Fellow (ICCF) (Doctorados).
ICCA learning structure is at the same level as that of University Masters degrees, while ICCF is structured for Ph.D level.
In this regard, IUP shall be the awarder or issuer of the following degrees with transcripts to LPCMC’s deserving students which will be in Spanish language. Transcript will be in English version also.
- Licenciado en Gerencia de Crédito (Bachelor of Art in Credit Management)
- Master en Gerencia de Crédito (Master of Art in Credit Management)
- Doctor en Administración con énfasis en Gerencia de Crédito (Ph.D
in Credit Management)
LPCMC Admission Policy:
- Once a student is issued admission letter he/she is expected to pay the tuition fee immediately.
- Any student who fails to make payment within the first four (4) weeks of resumption is deemed to have forfeited the admission and may be required to obtain fresh admission form if he/she wish to continue with the programme.
- Request for deferment of admission can only be entertained if the candidate has paid the first installment of his/her programme fees.
- All students are expected to register online. Any student who is unable to do this is required to contact our office immediately for necessary guidance /or assistance.
Graduation Requirement Policy:
- A student is allowed a minimum of two semesters and a maximum of three semesters within which to complete his/her initial programme.
- Submission of tutor-marked assignment (TMA), passing all examinations and completion of students research project are pre-requisite for graduation. Project research carries 100 marks.
- A student is said to have obtain pass in any subject, if he/she obtain a grade C. Any students who score less than grade C in a subject will be required to resist the subject.

IUP calculate CGPA in numbers of 1-100 as promedy of all the scores obtained in subjects during the studies, and also in US form academic index: 0 to 3, where 2.51 to 3 are Sigma Lambda distinction. For this CGPA, we consider a 3 for each A multiply by credit hour, 2 for each B, multiply by credit hour and 1 for each C multiply by credit hour. Other score D do not sum for credit hour. All this accumulative numbers are divided by credit hours of all the subjects done, and the result, a number between 0 to 3, are CGPA equivalent academic index.

LPCMC’s Agreement with IUP
- Many people who are responsible for the task of credit management in their places of work, who though are qualified in their other field of learning but not credit management, and cannot afford to take time away from their jobs, but prefers a work-and-Learn independent study programme with little or occasional time to attend weekend lecture class, are those who constitutes LPCMC’s specialist postgraduate students.
- LPCMC undergraduate students are those who have met some or all the requirements for admission to earnestly read for their university’s bachelor degree qualification, but were unable for whatever reason to secure admission into universities.
The partnership agreement between LPCMC and IUP is strictly on the award of specialist degrees in Credit Management through credits transfer from LPCMC, vide:
- Licenciado en Administración con énfasis en Gerencia de Crédito(Bachelor of Art in Credit Management)
- Master en Gerencia de Crédito (Master of Art in Credit Management)
- Doctor en Administración con énfasis en Gerencia de Crédito (Ph.D
in Credit Management)
- Therefore, the International University, Panama with which the London Postgraduate Credit Management College, UK maintains agreement will accept credits of LPCMC undergraduate and postgraduate professional diplomas for conversion to and issuance of Bachelors of Art, Masters of Art and Doctorate (Ph.D) degrees in Credit Management to LPCMC’s deserving students.
The fee chargeable per student in respect of this collaboration is incorporated in the fees published in LPCMC website in light of each party’s scope of responsibilities:
