PSCFM Student/Target Audience
  • Credit Executives in all sectors of the Nigerian Economy (including Financial Institutions), who may not have core background and/or sufficient training in credit
  • Management. The sectors include Banking, Manufacturing, Insurance, Services, Communication, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Government Parastatals, among others.
  • Graduates of Nigerian Universities, who may wish to diversify from the courses they have read, which were not very relevant to the nation’s immediate developmental needs. Graduates of these courses who may wish to diversify to a more relevant and professional course do take advantage of PSCFM credit and financial management programmes.
  • The teeming Nigerian youths unable to gain admission through Jamb into Nigerian Universities: Each year, less than 40% of the actual number of students who sit for the University Matriculation Examination and Polytechnic/College of Education Matriculation Examinations are given admission. It is claimed by Nigerian JAMB authority that not less than a total of 600,000 Nigerian youths seeking for university admission yearly sit for their matriculation examination. Now, the question is, what other window of opportunity is available to the remaining 60% of the nation’s youth desperately seeking university education? The PSCFM in collaboration with any reliable and serious national and/or international university can close rank in staging “a window of opportunity” for these other Nigerian youths for the study of credit management at degree levels.
